Volunteers serve the Cayucos Library by:
- shelving books
- keeping shelves in order
- staffing the on-going used Book Sale
-providing coverage at the front desk when the library manager is on a break
- leading story time
- raising funds by coordinating two main events each year (Spring Book Sale and Labor Day Weekend Book and Treasure Sale)
- maintaining the membership lists
- creating displays for special events
- and working on special projects as directed.
