Dear Supporters of Cayucos Library,
Your generous contributions this year have made possible the continuation of our library's evening open hours on Wednesdays and the purchase of over $4500 in new library materials for children, teens and adults, (books, music CDs, DVDs, audio books, games and periodicals). Funds from the Friends budget paid for the Summer Programs at the Library which entertained and informed over 290 kids and teens. Subscriptions to daily newspapers and several popular magazines are underwritten by the Friends. A renewed partnership and collaboration with Cayucos School has brought more young library users through our doors.
Our budget is tight! We consider every expenditure, carefully balancing "wants and needs." Your contribution and membership in the Friends of Cayucos Library will ensure that the library remains a strong and vital presence in our community. Visitors to Cayucos who drop by for information, directions, or to access their email from the free computers are amazed at the size and scope of our small but mighty branch library: an asset to be nurtured and supported by all.
